Ludlow man held wife hostage

        LUDLOW - A Ludlow, Ky., resident surrendered to police Sundaynight after holding his wife hostage for about four hours.

        Police were dispatched to his home in the 400 block of Hazen Street at about 7:30 p.m. The man, who had a shotgun, wouldn't leave.

        Police evacuated the two homes across the street. SWAT team members surrounded the man's home.

        He was arrested and was expected to spend Sunday night in Kenton County Jail.
