Testimony today
Prosecutors today expect to finish presenting their case against Officer Stephen Roach. Among the likely witnesses:
Homicide detectives Charlie Beaver and Robert Heinlein, who say Officer Roach changed his explanations about what happened;
Roger Smallwood, a retired Cincinnati officer who now works as a firearms training instructor;
Lt. Tim Sabransky, who will testify about Cincinnati Police Division policies and procedures.
Special Prosecutor Stephen McIntosh said he also plans to play the video filmed by a cruiser camera. A state expert worked to enhance the original.
Angela Leisure, mother of victim Timothy Thomas, will not take the stand.
Fatal shot not likely accidental
