Today's Career Advice

Business leaders and generals have much in common.

That is obvious from any reading of The Art of War by Sun Tzu.

One of the worst mistakes that both can make is to err because of recklessness, “which leads to destruction.”

Other significant faults include “cowardice, a hasty temper that can be provoked by insults, a delicacy of honor that is sensitive to shame, and over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble.”

— John Eckberg

Today's Money Tip

The arena of funds has grown dramatically in the last 30 years and now includes religious funds, or those that pick stocks based on a certain group's beliefs.

— Amy Higgins
