New Line Cinemas will unveil a new coming-attractions trailer for the eagerly awaited movie Fellowship of the Ring during the season premiere of Angel (9 p.m. Monday, Channel 64).
Fellowship is the first of three planned films based on Lord of the Rings, a trilogy of novels by the late J.R.R. Tolkien.
Two earlier trailers have been playing for months on the Fellowship Web site, www.lordoftherings.net, along with video clips from the movie set in New Zealand and interviews with director Peter Jackson, star Elijah Wood and others.
The movie, also starring Liv Tyler, Sean Astin, Viggo Mortensen and Ian McKellen, is scheduled to open worldwide Dec. 19.
