ZF Group N.A. names president

Bernd Habersack, a member of ZF Friedrichshafen AG's board of management, has been named president of ZF Group's North American Operations based in Florence.

Mr. Habersack, 58, who will continue to oversee ZF's chassis-technology division, succeeds James C. Orchard, who recently left ZF Group to become president of operations for Visteon Corp. in Dearborn, Mich.

Jim Stacey, 51, who was named chief operating officer for ZF's Lemforder Corp. earlier this year, will handle coordination of the ZF corporate offices in Florence and the company's technical center in Northville, Mich.

The ZF Group, a leading supplier of automotive driveline and chassis technology, operates 14 plants in North America and expects North American sales next year of more than $2 billion. ZF is also acquiring Sachs Automotive, which employs about 500 in Northern Kentucky.
