Midnight Madness schedules




        A schedule of “Midnight Madness” events for area Division I college basketball programs:

Cincinnati

        Today at Shoemaker Center

        6:30 p.m. — Doors open, before volleyball game.

        10 p.m. — Program begins with men's basketball autograph session.

        10:25 p.m. — Various programs, including intramural free throw contest, virtual-reality game, Laurie Pirtle ball-handling show.

        11 p.m. — Women's team introduced.

        11:50 p.m. — Salute to Oscar Robertson.

        11:55 p.m. — Bob Huggins introduced.

        Midnight — Men's team introduced for scrimmage, dunk and 3-point contests.

Xavier

        Friday, Oct. 19 at Cintas Center

        6 p.m. — Doors open.

        7 p.m. — Contests; performances by band, cheerleaders and dance team; highlight video and countdown to introductions.

        7:30 p.m. — Men's team is introduced. Full scrimmage follows. Halftime includes contests and a performance by the Extreme Team slam-dunk acrobats.

        8:30 p.m. — Meet the Musketeers reception, Coca-Cola Caravan of Fun, pep rally.
       Sunday, Oct. 21 at Cintas Center

        3 p.m. — Doors open.

        4 p.m. — Contests; performances by band, cheerleaders and dance team; highlight video and countdown to introductions.

        4:30 p.m. — Women's team introduced. Full scrimmage follows. Halftime includes contests and a performance by the Extreme Team slam-dunk acrobats.

        5:30 p.m. — Meet the Musketeers reception.

Miami

        Today at Millett Hall

        10 p.m. — Miami After Dark begins.

        11:03 p.m. — Various student and fan programs, including slam-dunk and shooting contests.

        11:54 p.m. — Men's and women's highlight videos.

        Midnight — Player introductions.

        12:15 a.m. — Two-ball competition.

        12:20 a.m. — Men's scrimmage.

        12:35 a.m. — Various competitions, including shooting, slam-dunk and 3-point.

Kentucky

        Today at Memorial Coliseum

(Tickets were distributed Saturday)

        10 p.m. — Doors open.

        10:30 p.m. — Contests and giveaways.

        Midnight — Men's and women's teams introduced. Scrimmage follows.
