What's the Buzz?
Web site helps home buyers, sellers
By Jeff McKinney
The Cincinnati Enquirer
It might not be as popular as Ask Jeeves on the Internet, but Sibcy Cline Realtors has its version to help those interested in buying or selling homes.
Sibcy Cline says it has become the Tristate's first real estate company to launch a new interactive research feature on its Web site, Ask Sibcy Cline.
A visit to www.sibcycline.com will allow a search of more than 1,200 Web pages of one of the world's best-selling books, from the For Dummies series. Sibcy Cline has exclusive rights to help consumers with home purchasers using the Dummies format as a guide.
Ask Sibcy Cline will offer tips on preparing to sell, negotiating strategies and advice on what to do after closing. For those not interested in buying or selling homes, personal-computer users can pick up tips on home maintenance.
Though Sibcy Cline would not say how much it paid for exclusive rights to the series, there's talk that one of Cincinnati's other large residential real estate firms also liked the For Dummies site.
With nearly 60 percent of all consumers beginning the home buying or selling pace process online, it is critical that we provide high-quality objective information, said Robert Sibcy, president of Sibcy Cline Realtors.
