Promotions & new on the job




        • Dino Lucarelli has been named chief financial officer at Cintech Solutions. Mr. Lucarelli will oversee all of Cintech's growing finance, e-business operations, investor relations and human resources activities. He has almost 20 years of experience in financial and support systems management with a wide range of public entities, including technology-based companies. He previously served as chief financial officer at Pomeroy Computer Resources.

        • Ed D. Macy has been named Ohio senior commercial field investigator for Liberty Mutual Group.

        • John S. Evans has joined Advanced Capital Strategies Financial Advisors as client service director.         • Mary E. Bennett has been appointed administrative head, human resources at The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County; Donna Barkley, branch manager of the Mount Healthy branch; Kathleen Due, branch manager of Hyde Park; Charles F. Dugan, branch manager of Corryville; and Denise Scretchen, branch manager of Madisonville.

        • Chris Connolly has been named vice president of client services for national integrated marketing firm CoActive Marketing Group. Mr. Connolly's primary responsibility is to act as the catalyst behind the company's recent push into kids and teen marketing. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and began his marketing career at Nestle and later served as a product manager for H.J. Heinz.

        • Scott B. Crooks, a partner in the employee benefits practice group of Thompson Hine LLP, Cincinnati office, has been appointed president of the Wyoming School Foundation.

        • Linda Stetson has been named chapter president at the Ohio Valley Chapter of National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

        • Shawn Hamilton, local businessman, has been appointed a new officer to the 2001 board of trustees at the Greater Hamilton Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Hamilton replaces Dr. Jack Rhodes, executive director of Miami University Hamilton, whose second three-year term expired in 2001.

        • Richard Bastian has joined Foppe Technical Group Inc., a Cincinnati-based site development engineering firm, as technical sales associate, and Maureen Parsons has joined the firm as senior project manager of civil engineering.

        • Dr. Steven M. Bleser, chiropractor with the Alliance Institute for Integrative Medicine, has been appointed president of the Ohio State Chiropractic board.

        • Ryan D. McKenna has joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants as dining room manager of Mitchell's Fish Market at Newport on the Levee. Mr. McKenna graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

        • Robert C. Simpson has been appointed to the board of directors at Kendle International.

        • Robert Off has joined Miller-Valentine Realty as senior specialist, corporate sales and leasing in the Cincinnati office. Mr. Off will focus on building a corporate services, sales and leasing practice in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, offering clients a variety of services. He was owner of Real Estate Resource Co. He has more than 23 years of experience.

        • John P. Snyder has been appointed machining research engineer in the Machining Xcellence division at TechSolve.

        • Steve Kirschner has joined Marketing Support Services Inc., a Web-based/e-commerce fulfillment company in Cincinnati, as account executive; Robb Sartori, director of client services; Tony Saylor, regional sales manager; and Stacey Hayden, sales representative.

        • HHB Partners Inc. has been recognized by the Ohio Association of Realtors for outstanding promotion and advertising.
