Last-second TD bomb won game
By Cincinnati Enquirer
Redshirt freshman quarterback Ben Roethlisberger earned his third Mid-American Conference East Division offensive player of the week honor. He established school records for passing yards (399) and total offense (485 yards) and completed a 70-yard touchdown pass as time expired in a 30-27 win Saturday against Akron.
Junior forward Andrea Cunningham (McAuley) was named MAC women's soccer player of the week. Cunningham, who has 11 goals in the last 11 games, has already tied Miami's single-season records for game-winning goals (5) and multiple-goal games (4) this season.
Junior outside hitter Kelly McCullough was named MAC East Division player of the week in volleyball for the second time this season.
