        Boo Party: Discover some fun and easy ideas for Halloween party decorations and food at a 10 a.m. workshop today at Woodlands Gift Shop, 1004 Delta Ave., Mount Lookout. $10. There will also be a class on pressed flowers 7 p.m. Monday where pressed flower pictures will be made. $45 includes all materials and framing. Information: 533-4153.

        At Great Indoors: Learn the tricks of faux painting at a workshop 10 a.m.-noon today with Liz Herrmann. She will be spotlighting the use of the Woolie, a faux painting tool created from sheepskin. Fee: $45.

        Also, learn to add color to your walls with the Curve Decor rubber stamp 11 a.m.-1 p.m. next Saturday. Fee: $35.

        Fall design: Petals & Things Florist in West Chester Township will have a class on fall design 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday and 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday. $40 for tools, container, greenery, fresh flowers. Petals & Things is at 4891 Smith Road. Reservations: 942-0500.

        Forcing bulbs: The A-B-Cs of forcing perfect paper whites and amaryllis will be the subject of a 7:30-9:15 p.m. class Thursday, at Belle Maison, 3520 Erie Ave. Hyde Park. Fee, $15; supplies, $35. Information: 871-1109.

        Victorian Topiary: The Heritage Restaurant, 7664 Wooster Pike, will have a Victorian topiary class 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11:30 a.m. next Saturday. It will cover using dried, silk and freeze-dried flowers with a 20-inch lemon leaf topiary that has a multiple-twig trunk. $38.50. Reservations: 561-9300.

        Moeller antiques show: The Moeller Band Boosters will sponsor an antiques show 9 a.m.-5 p.m. next Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Nov. 4 at the high school, 9001 Montgomery Road, one mile east of Kenwood Towne Centre. More than 135 dealers will sell furniture, lamps, glassware, jewelry, quilts and collectibles. Admission: $3. Information: 481-2977, 922-5265.

        Holiday sale: Cincinnati Art Galleries' fourth annual Holiday Sale will be next Saturday and Nov. 4 with more than 1,100 lots of art pottery and art glass to be sold in three sessions. Keramics, with more than 150 lots of Roseville and Weller pottery, will begin at 10 a.m. next Saturday. Art Glass, with more than 250 lots of American and European glass, will start at 3 p.m. next Saturday. The Rookwood session, beginning at 10 a.m. Nov. 4, will include more than 380 lots of artist-signed and production pieces, including paperweights and figures. The auction will be at 225 E.         Simplify session: Lesley Alderman, editor of Real Simple magazine, will discuss steps to take to simplify life and perhaps make it better at 2 p.m. next Saturday at 106 Pendery Auditorium, Wyoming High School. Proceeds will help the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati and the New York Firefighters 9/11 Disaster Relief Fund. The Junior Women's Club of Wyoming is presenting the event. Admission: $20.
