Williams leads Ducks past Crunch

Jason Williams scored twice and added an assist, leading the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 7-3 victory over the Syracuse Crunch Saturday night in the AHL at the Gardens. The Ducks completed a two-game series sweep over the Central Division-leading Crunch after an 0-6 start. Jay Legault and Petr Tenkrat contributed a goal and two assists each for Cincinnati, which improved to 13-4-2-1 in the all-time series against Syracuse.

The Miami RedHawks rallied from a 2-1 third-period deficit to defeat Ferris State 3-2 and sweep their two-game CCHA series Greg Hogeboom, Mike Glumac and Danny Stewart scored for Miami (4-2-0, 2-0-0 CCHA), which plays host to Western Michigan Friday and Saturday. FSU drops to 2-3-0, 0-3-0 CCHA.
