Detroit Red Wings prospect Sean Avery scored two power-play goals, the tying and go-ahead tallies, to lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks past the Chicago Wolves 5-3 Sunday in the AHL at the Gardens.
The Ducks are 4-1-0-1 in their last six games. We've come a long way in our determination, our grit and our battle level, Ducks coach Mike Babcock said. Once you get that, you have a chance to be successful.
Andy McDonald had two assists, giving him 17 points in his last 12 games.
