        Middletown Madison

        • COACH: Brian McGuire (first year)

        • LAST YEAR: 6-15 (2-7 Southwestern Buckeye League)

        • KEY PLAYERS: F Holli Kroger.

        • OUTLOOK: After 17 years as a head, assisant and junior varsity coach at Madison and Middletown Christian, Brian McGuire takes over the Mohawks girls program.

        Amanda Norvell and Ashley Snowden are the only seniors and will be looked to for leadership of a team loaded with six talented sophomores and three juniors.

        Junior forward Holli Kroger, a 5-foot-9 forward who averages 10 points a game, is the Mohawks outside threat with freshman Amanda Eckhardt (6-foot-4) expected to control the boards.

        Fayetteville

        • COACH: Toby Sheets (14th season, 209-93, 209-93 overall

        LAST YEAR: 10-12 (7-7 league)

        • KEY PLAYERS: G Holly Rosselot; G Beca White; F Hillari Call.

        • OUTLOOK: As in past seasons, the Rockets will be a uptempo team, utilizing exceptional speed and depth.

        Holly Rosselot is one of three guards that shoot well from the outside while Hillari Call, a 5-foot-7 forward, and Amanda Pope (6-foot) are expected to handle the rebounding and inside scoring.

        Sheets will rely on six sophomores which could lead to a slow start.

       Waynesville

        • COACH: Tim Gabbard (22nd season, 258-207, 258-207 overall

        • LAST YEAR: 7-13 (5-7 league)

        • KEY PLAYERS: C Mi Mi Goodyear

        • OUTLOOK: This is the season that the Spartans could emerge as a Division III power with seven seniors and two talented juniors ready to go.

        Mi Mi Goodyear, a 6-foot-3 junior center, and senior Kelly Currin (6-foot senior) gives coach Gabbard strong inside scoring and rebounding.

        On the outside, sharp shooters Lynnette Morley, Kristen Smith, Ashley Fosnaught and Angie Mound are quick and good outside shooters which could give opposing teams defensive headaches.
       South Dearborn

        • COACH: Bob Bressert (first season)

        • LAST YEAR: 14-7

        • KEY PLAYERS: G Mandy Schmahl; G Meghann Disch

        • OUTLOOK: Experience at every position gives first-year coach Bressert and excellent opportunity to launch his career with a successful season.

        Senior guards Mandy Schmahl and Meghann Disch are the outside threats for a team that lacks height but feature outstanding speed and quickness.,

        Tracy Beer, a 5-foot-10 senior forward and the team's leading scorer (16 ppg, 6 rpg) last season, is also back along with Jeananne Pippine, Jessica Legge and Ashley Kinnett.
