Congrats
Kenyon student elected to society
Ann O'Reilly has been elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, the national collegiate honor society. She is a senior English major at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio.
The Summit Country Day School graduate is the daughter of Rosann O'Reilly of Hyde Park and James O'Reilly of Wyoming.
Drama workshop
Moeller High School senior Brandon Harris of Silverton and Northwest High School senior Sabina Thalheim of Colerain Townshipwere two of 15 students chosen to be part of a selective drama criticism workshop sponsored by the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
The students will see eight professional plays at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, the Ensemble Theater of Cincinnatiand the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and write drama reviews for each play. They will also meet with Enquirer theater critic Jackie Demaline for a workshop on drama and journalism.
Dean's list
Junior Katelyn O'Reilly was named to the spring semester dean's list at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
The Indian Hill High School graduate is the daughter of Ingrid O'Reilly of Kenwood and Bill O'Reilly of Indian Hill.
Basic training
The following airmen have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas:
Jeremy Cox, graduate of Edgewood High School and son of Kathy and Donald Cox of Middletown; Christopher Cannady, graduate of St. Bernard-Elmwood Place High School and son of Connie Jackson of Elmwood Place; and Aaron Foy, graduate of Middletown High School and son of Deborah and James Ewers of Middletown.
Golden Key honors
Amanda Bennett, a junior mass communications major at Wright State University, Dayton, was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. She has received highest honors for all quarters to date, and the following awards: Damon Bell Diversity Award; Emerging Student Leader Award; and the Peer Leadership Award.
The graduate of McAuley High School is the daughter of Yvonne and Jim Bennett of Groesbeck.
