Second man pleads guilty in videotaped sex assault
The Associated Press
TIFFIN, Ohio A former college wrestler has pleaded guilty to taking part in a videotaped sexual assault of an unconscious woman.
Nelson Pixler, 20, of Defiance, pleaded guilty last week to three counts of complicity to sexual battery.
As part of the agreement, prosecutors will recommend that Mr. Pixler spend four years in prison.
Mr. Pixler and Nicholas Klingler, 21, of Circleville, were accused of assaulting the woman in a Heidelberg College dormitory and showing other students a videotape of the attack.
Mr. Klingler pleaded guilty in March to three counts of sexual battery and was sentenced to four years in prison.
The victim, a Bowling Green State University student, was visiting other friends on campus in November 1999 and didn't know the two men, police said.
The woman told police she had been drinking and went into a friend's room to sleep. She said she did not consent to any sexual activity.
Police recovered a videotape, in which a naked woman seemed to be placed in different positions while unconscious, according to court documents.
The two men were expelled from Heidelberg, a private liberal arts school about 80 miles north of Columbus.
