Buckeyes oust UC in volleyball
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The University of Cincinnati's run in the NCAA volleyball tournament was ended by Ohio State in Columbus Saturday night. The Buckeyes beat the Bearcats 30-16, 22-30, 30-27 and 30-27.
Game2 was one of the best games we played all year, UC coach Reed Sunahara said. We came out excited in game three and played tough but couldn't put them away. If we win that game, it's a different match.
It was the third straight NCAA appearance for the Bearcats and fourth overall. UC had recorded its first NCAA Tournament win by beating Xavier Friday night. UC finished its best season 23-8.
OSU (27-3) advances to the regional semifinals.
