The Associated Press

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Roger Mason Jr. scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half Saturday night to help pull No.9 Virginia back from a 16-point, first-half deficit and the Cavaliers beat Virginia Tech, 68-61.

The Cavaliers (4-0), playing for the first time since their ACC-Big Ten Challenge game against Michigan State was postponed in the second half because of a wet floor, needed the whole second half to win this one.
