Meeting to discuss school enrollment
Cincinnati Public Schools and the Ohio School Facilities Commission will outline the district's school enrollment trends and 10-year projections Wednesday as part of a series of meetings planning for a districtwide school building project.
The project is estimated to cost up to $900 million to renovate, consolidate or rebuild all of CPS's 76 school buildings. The state will contribute 23 percent if the district can come up with the rest through a bond issue or other revenue.
The meeting, which is open to the public but for information only, will be at 11:30 a.m. in the banquet room of Mayerson Academy, 2650 Highland Ave., Corryville.
