Boy faces murder charge

The Cincinnati Enquirer

DRY RIDGE — A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on a juvenile count of murder in the shooting death Thursday of Henry J. Denny, Kentucky State Police said Sunday.

Mr. Denny was at a residence of his brother, Todd Denny, in the 800 block of Blair Road the night of the shooting when the 17-year-old began arguing with Henry Denny, police said.

The teen, who is not being identified because he is a juvenile, left the home but returned and twice shot the 42-year-old Mr. Denny, Todd Denny told police. The fatally injured Mr. Denny then walked to another residence, where he was later pronounced dead.

The youth was arrested Saturday evening and is being held at the Campbell County juvenile detention facility, police said.

The case remains under investigation and police said Sunday they are unsure of what, if any, relationship there was between the juvenile and Henry Denny.
