CLEVELAND Adam Cologiacomo had a goal and an assist to help lift the host Cleveland Barons to a 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
Chad Wiseman and Ryan Kraft also scored for the Barons, who bounced back from Thursday's loss to Rochester to improve to 3-1-1-0 in their last five games and Cleveland moved seven points ahead of the second-place Ducks in the Central Division.
Yuri Butsayev tallied the lone goal and goaltender Jason Elliott made 31 saves for Cincinnati, which dropped its second straight and is winless in its last five (0-2-2-1).
The teams combined to go 0-for-13 on the power play, with the Ducks failing eight times.
The Ducks play Syracuse tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
