CHARLOTTE, N.C. Sam Cassell scored 29 points and Glenn Robinson added 21 to lead the Bucks to a lopsided 105-89 victory over the Hornets on Friday night.
It was the third straight win for the Bucks, who were without Ray Allen for a fourth consecutive game because of tendinitis in his left knee.
The Hornets, who are without Jamal Mashburn and are at least two weeks away from adding injured George Lynch to the lineup, have now lost five of seven games and could be in big trouble if leading scorer Baron Davis continues to have his own knee problems.
Davis started the game but was clearly bothered, missing nine of 10 shots in the first half. He then banged his knee again in the third quarter and hopped off the court for good with 8:21 left in the period.

Allan Houston scored 28 points to lead New York, but missed seven of 10 shots in the second half as the Knicks faded badly.

MIAMI Jason Williams had 19 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies won for the fourth time in five games.
The Heat lost their fifth in a row and their second in two nights to fall to 5-22, the second-worst record in the NBA, ahead of only the Chicago Bulls. The Heat have already surpassed the 21 losses coach Pat Riley endured in 1996-97, his best season at Miami.
Miami lost at home for the 11th time in the past 12 games.
Memphis has only nine wins all season but four since Dec. 20.
