Mighty Ducks edge 'Dogs

Dwayne Zinger's second-period goal proved to be the difference, as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1 in the opener of a two-game AHL series Friday at the Gardens.
Ryan Barnes also scored for the Ducks, who have won four straight and six of their last seven (6-1-0-0).
Ilja Bryzgalov stopped 24 shots to register his sixth straight win. He has a 0.83 goals-against average in his last six appearances, stopping 166 of 171 shots for a .971 save percentage in that span.
