What are you using Cinergy seats for?

The Cincinnati Enquirer

If you feel the urge to take a seventh-inning stretch 45 minutes into the Young and the Restless, you could be confused. Or bored. Or young and restless. Or you could be watching television from the comfort of a Cinergy Field seat.

About 2,500 interconnected chairs were sold more than a year ago after part of Cinergy Field was razed to make room for construction of the Great American Ball Park.

More will be available when complete demolition of Cinergy occurs in 2003. Some buyers say they make great gifts — excellent accent pieces for French provincial, contemporary or early American motifs.)

If, in a fit of nostalgia, you bought chairs with numbers, please tell us about them. Where they are; who's using them; how they're being received.

If you've relegated them to the attic in favor of a luxurious La-Z-Boy with a built-in refrigerator, tell us that, too.

Send your story — with your name and phone number or e-mail address — to Mike Pulfer, Cincinnati Enquirer, 312 Elm St., Cincinnati, 45202. Fax: 768-8330. E-mail: mpulfer@enquirer.com.
