Kings senior wins Ashland scholarship
Jennifer Renfro has been awarded a presidential scholarship from Ashland University. The award is given to incoming freshmen and transfer students based on grade-point averages and ACT/SAT scores.
The daughter of Julie and Mike Renfro of Maineville is a senior at Kings High School.
CSU scholarships
The following have received scholarships from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio:
D'Wayne Davis, a senior business administration major from Mount Airy, received both an Upper Class Scholar Scholarship and a Resident Advisor Board Scholarship.
Upper Class Scholar Scholarships: Mikisha Belcher, junior manufacturing-engineering major from Springfield Township; Brandon Davis, freshman pre-adolescent to young adult education major from Madisonville; Ylonda Gibson, sophomore adolescent to young adult education major from Cumminsville; Darrell Hazel, sophomore biology major from Avondale; Kiniesh Stewart, sophomore communications radio/TV major from Bevis; Lawanda Vinegar, junior early childhood education major from the West End; and Sheena Wynn, freshman advertising graphics major from Lockland.
