Craig added to boxing card
Dante Craig, the Olympic boxing teammate and boyhood pal of silver medalist Ricardo Williams Jr., will join his fellow Cincinnatian on the pro fight card Feb. 24 at Cincinnati Gardens.
The other Cincinnatians who will box are Robert Dula, Cornell Shinholster and Mark Scott. Also on the card is another Olympian, Brian Viloria of Hawaii. The show will be nationally telecast on ESPN. Craig (4-1, 4 knockouts) was upset the last time he fought in Cincinnati as a pro.
Williams (6-0, 5 KO's) has not lost in two prior pro fights in Cincinnati.
Tickets ($25, $40, $60 and $100) are available through Ticketmaster (513-562-4949) or in person at the Gardens box office (513-631-7793). The first fight is scheduled for 2 p.m; ESPN's live telecast begins at 4 p.m.
