Webber, Kings toast Wolves
Lakers win in Dallas

MINNEAPOLIS Chris Webber had 31 points and 14 rebounds, and the Sacramento Kings defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-107 Sunday for their 17th win in 18 games.
Mike Bibby scored 24 points and sealed the win with 10.1 seconds left by driving and flipping up a high, arching shot over Kevin Garnett that made it 110-105.
Sacramento, which has the NBA's best record at 36-10, won in Minneapolis for the first time since Jan. 28, 1997 a span of nine games.
Minnesota was led by Garnett's 32 points and 12 rebounds.
Lakers 101, Mavericks 94
DALLAS Shaquille O'Neal scored 31 points, including two dunks that ended Dallas rallies, and Los Angeles beat the Mavericks for the 40th time in 43 meetings.
With O'Neal off the floor, Dallas used an 11-0 run capped by Wang Zhizhi's two free throws to tie the game at 76 with 9:45 left.
O'Neal returned during that stop in play, and less than 20 seconds later produced a one-handed slam over 7-foot-6 Mavericks center Shawn Bradley. The Lakers led the rest of the way.
Kobe Bryant added 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers, who have won four straight games after a 2-4 stretch.
Wizards 109, Pacers 89
WASHINGTON Michael Jordan scored 23 points, and Richard Hamilton had 21 in his first start in six weeks as Washington finally beat Indiana.
The Wizards had lost six straight and 15 of 16 games to the Pacers, including a 108-81 loss on Dec. 27, when Jordan scored a career-low six points. The victory was a big one in early playoff maneuvering, with both teams entering two games over .500 and riding two-game winning streaks.
Jordan made 11 of 19 shots and had six assists in 41 minutes. Hamilton made nine of 19 shots in his first start since Dec. 21. He missed 17 games with a groin tear and was a reserve the last two games.
Heat 94, Knicks 83
NEW YORK Alonzo Mourning scored 21 points, Eddie Jones had 18, and Jim Jackson 15 as Miami beat New York, moving within a half-game of the Knicks in the Atlantic Division.
The Heat started the season 2-14, but they have turned things around since early January with victories in 10 of their last 12 games.
Allan Houston scored 28, and Kurt Thomas had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks, who will be without Marcus Camby for at least three weeks. Camby bruised his hip Friday at Indiana.
Spurs 105, Magic 98, OT
ORLANDO, Fla. Tim Duncan had 29 points, including a crucial three-point play in overtime, and 15 rebounds as San Antonio stopped a three-game losing streak by beating Orlando.
David Robinson added a season-high 27 points, 14 coming in the fourth quarter and overtime, with seven blocked shots as the Spurs rallied from a four-point deficit in the final 45 seconds of regulation.
For Orlando, Tracy McGrady had 26 points on 12-of-36 shooting and a career-high 17 rebounds. Darrell Armstrong scored 25 points, 12 in the fourth quarter.
Celtics 104, Clippers 91
BOSTON Antoine Walker scored 27 points and Paul Pierce added 24 as Boston ended a three-game losing streak.
Boston defeated the Clippers for the fifth straight time at home and avoided matching its season-high four-game losing streak. Los Angeles dropped its second straight game and hasn't won in Boston since the 1996-97 season.
The Celtics went on a 12-4 run to start the fourth quarter to take a 93-82 lead. Walter McCarty had two 3-pointers in the spurt and Walker capped it with a basket inside.
Hornets 97, Grizzlies 79
MEMPHIS, Tenn. Baron Davis had 18 points and 10 assists, leading Charlotte past Memphis for its third straight victory.
Six Hornets scored in double figures in dealing Memphis its third loss in a row.
Elden Campbell led Charlotte with 19 points, while P.J. Brown scored 15. Jamal Magloire added 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Lee Nailon and George Lynch scored 12 each.
Stromile Swift led Memphis with 13 points, while Shane Battier scored 12, and Grant Long finished with 11.
Suns 98, Warriors 97
OAKLAND, Calif. Anfernee Hardaway scored with two seconds left to give Phoenix a victory over Golden State.
Shawn Marion scored 17 of his 21 points in the second half and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Suns overcame a 21-point deficit to sweep the season series.
Hardaway finished with 25 points as the Suns snapped a three-game road losing streak by beating the Warriors for the second time in three days. John Wallace added 16 points and Stephon Marbury 14.
Antawn Jamison scored 27 points and had 10 rebounds for the Warriors, who have lost four straight and 14 of their last 16.
Trail Blazers 101, Bulls 96
PORTLAND, Ore. Bonzi Wells scored 19 points and had seven rebounds as Portland beat Chicago.
Damon Stoudamire added 14 points and six assists, and Dale Davis had 13 points and 11 rebounds as seven Blazers scored in double figures.
Brad Miller led the Bulls with 21 points, Kevin Ollie had 15 points and 11 assists and Marcus Fizer added 16 points.
Chicago pulled within four points of Portland, 97-93, with 49.4 seconds left. But the Blazers held on, thanks to a clutch running one-handed shot along the right baseline by Stoudamire with the shot clock running down with 30.5 seconds left and a pair of free throws nine seconds later to pad the lead.
