Emmperative to trim work force
Los Gatos, Calif.-based Emmperative, a branding-systems company partly funded by Procter & Gamble Co., will cut its work force and might look for a software company as a partner, Reuters reported Friday.
The company's CEO said Emmperative will cut its payroll to about 20 employees, compared to 65 now.
Emmperative posted sales of less than $10 million in 2001, but has several blue-chip clients, Reuters said.
Other owners include Accenture and venture-capital firm Rustic Canyon.
