Republicans file for re-election

The Cincinnati Enquirer

HAMILTON — Butler County's three state representatives filed petitions for re-election Tuesday.

Reps. Gary Cates of West Chester, Greg Jolivette of Hamilton and Shawn Webster of Millville — all Republicans — appeared together at the Butler County Board of Elections to file their papers.

Mr. Cates is Speaker pro tempore, the No. 2 leadership position in the House. Mr. Jolivette is chairman of the Health and Family Services Committee. Mr. Webster serves on the Finance and Appropriations Committee.
