Hamilton Co. Park courses swing into spring
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Hamilton County Park District golf courses are gearing up for the 2002 season.
On Friday, the Vineyard at Woodland Mound, Sharon Woods, Miami Whitewater Forest and the Mill Course in Winton Woods will open. Shawnee Lookout will open March 15. Meadow Links & Golf Academy and Little Miami Golf Center are open year round.
Golf Digest listed the Vineyard as one of the top 10 courses in Ohio. Meadow Links & Golf Academy has been recognized as one of America's Top 100 Golf Ranges by the Golf Range Association of America for the seventh straight year. In 1999, Cincinnati Magazine honored the facility as the area's best practice and learning center.
Tee times may be reserved 10 days in advance. A vehicle permit is required to enter the parks. Info: (513) 521-7275.
