Three more join NCAA field

RICHMOND, Va. Brett Blizzard scored 22 points and North Carolina-Wilmington beat Virginia Commonwealth 66-51 Monday night in the Colonial Athletic Association championship.
Wilmington (22-9) won its second tournament in three years, and earned only the second NCAA tournament bid in school history.
Siena 92, Niagara 77, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference final, at Albany, N.Y. Dwayne Archbold scored 30 points and Siena earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Winning four games in four days made the hometown Saints (16-18) the first MAAC team to win the championship after participating in a play-in game.
Creighton 84, Southern Illinois 76, Missouri Valley Conference final, at St. Louis Terrell Taylor scored 20 points for Creighton (22-8), which earned the automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Creighton has reached the NCAA Tournament the past four years.
