Wilmington women lose D-III regional
WILMINGTON - The Lady Quakers fell one game short of the national semifinals, falling to DePauw at home 88-70 despite a game-high 26 points from Tara Rausch.
DePauw (25-3) put five players in double figures, led by Sarah MacKay's 21 and Katie Imborek's 20.
Wilmington (28-2) trailed by just two points at halftime but shot only 29 percent in the second half as DePauw pulled away.
MacKay was the MVP of the All-Section Team, which included Rausch, who also grabbed 11 rebounds.
