        TV picks: George Willig, the man who scaled the World Trade Center in 1977, talks about how and why he planned the climb on Fame for 15 (8 p.m., TNN).

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter says Xavier plays Hawaii at 2:52 p.m., and UC plays Boston University at 7:40 p.m., in the NCAA basketball tournament (Channel 12).

Auditions

        Film stars: Filmmakers are looking to fill several non-speaking female roles (20ish model types) and male speaking roles (streetwise, hip-hop types), both Caucasian and African-American. Auditions for the film, intended to premiere at the American Black Film Festival in June, are 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Melrose YMCA, 2840 Melrose Ave., Walnut Hills. Applicants must bring head shots and resumes, and will be taped. 861-4042.

        A week away: Loveland native Dan Stroeh brings in his acclaimed one-man show it is no desert, all about living with the nervous system disorder neurofibromatosis. 7:30 p.m. next Friday-March 23. Aronoff Center's Jarson-Kaplan Theater, $16. 241-7469.
