"Down From the Mountain, the festival-style tour featuring most of the biggest names from the Grammy-dominating O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack, is coming to Firstar Center on July 9.
The cast of the Cincinnati performance will be Emmylou Harris, Dan Tyminski (the singing voice of George Clooney in the film), Ralph Stanley, Ricky Skaggs, the Del McCoury Band, Norman and Nancy Blake, Jerry Douglas, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Rhonda Vincent, Bob Neuwirth and Taj Mahal.
To provide a more intimate environment, the arena will be set up in a theater-style, half-house arrangement.
Tickets are $29, $39 and $49, on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Firstar box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, by phone (562-4949) and online (www.ticketmaster.com).
The 29-city tour begins June 25 in Louisville's Freedom Hall. The other regional date is July 10 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
