Want a relationship? Take a seminar
Those with and without significant others can learn how to prepare or strengthen close relationships during a seminar series this month.
Where Is the Love? Singles and Marriage Seminars: Single With a Vision and Married With a Mission will be presented 8-11 p.m. March 29 and 30 at AYS Coffeehouse in Madisonville.
Clinical psychologist Dr. John Thomas and his wife, attorney Leslie Thomas, will lead the seminars. The seminar for singles will be March 29; couples' seminar on March 30.
In "Single With a Vision,' says Dr. Thomas, we'll show the singles how to first determine their career, life and spiritual goals, so they'll then be in a position to choose the right husband or wife.
In "Married With a Mission,' we'll show couples how to develop joint goals for their marriage and for each other and their children. If they don't work these issues out, their marriages will flounder and fall apart.
Registration for Single With a Vision is $35 per person; registration for Married With a Mission is $65 per couple. Both seminars include a full-course dinner and live entertainment. Advance registration required. 852-9883.
