Critic's pick: Canadian pop diva Celine Dion returns with A New Day Has Come (Epic; $18.98 CD, $12.98 cassette).
For those who prefer soulful eclecticism in their female vocalists, the week's top release is Cassandra Wilson's Belly of the Sun (Blue Note; $18.98 CD only).
The late gangsta rap pioneer Eazy-E pulls a Tupac with a back-from-the-dead CD, Impact of a Legend (Sony; $24.98 CD, including a bonus DVD;).
It's the 30th anniversary reissue of the O Brother of another generation, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's roots classic Will the Circle Be Unbroken? (Capitol; $26.98). It was once three LPs; today it's two CDs with bonus tracks.
