COLUMBUS — Ohio State and the Miami Hurricanes have scheduled a home-and-home football series in 2010 and 2011, the Buckeyes announced Thursday.

        The first game will be played Sept.4, 2010 in Columbus.

        The Buckeyes and Hurricanes also will play in Miami on Sept.17, 2011.

        Ohio State and Miami have met only twice. Ohio State won 10-0 in the 1977 season opener in Columbus. The Hurricanes beat the Buckeyes 23-12 in the 1999 Kickoff Classic.
