Cyclones one win from playoffs

The Cincinnati Cyclones are two points from clinching a berth in the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs after their sixth consecutive win, 5-1 over the Peoria Rivermen Friday at Firstar Center.
The Cyclones still lead Wheeling by three points after Wheeling won at Reading 3-2 in a shootout. One Cincinnati win or one Wheeling loss, and the Cyclones clinch.
The Cyclones and Nailers face each other Sunday at Firstar Center. Cincinnati travels to Peoria for an 8:05p.m. game today.
