HOUSTON, Texas Antti-Jussi Niemi scored a power-play goal late in the second period to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 1-1 tie with the Houston Aeros at the Compaq Center.
Cincinnati defenseman Aris Brimanis was recalled by Anaheim. He has two goals and nine assists with 44 penalty minutes in 71 games with Cincinnati this season.
