SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP A woman and two men face charges in connection with the robbery of the Fifth Third Bank at 7708 Montgomery Road about noon Tuesday.
Harold D. Carter, 22, of Georgia, and an unidentified man in his 30s are charged with aggravated robbery. Raquel Thornton, 35, of Georgia was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and child endangering.
The unidentified male suspect was uncooperative with sheriff's deputies and gave several false names and information, Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies used a sheriff's helicopter to locate the suspected getaway vehicle, a gray PT Cruiser, about a half-hour after the robbery.
The car, carrying the suspects and Ms. Thornton's children ages 4 and 6, was stopped on Section Road just inside Amberley Village.
The money and a handgun used in the robbery were dropped by the robbers in a drug store parking lot adjacent to the bank, deputies said. Several dye packs exploded as robbers fled the bank.
The three suspects are expected to be arraigned today .
The children were released to the county Department of Human Services.
