Ohio Garden Club honors 3

Three Greater Cincinnatians will be honored during the 74th annual convention of the Garden Club of Ohio Inc., meeting Tuesday and Wednesday at the Radisson Hotel Cincinnati on Chester Road in Sharonville.
Honorees: Daltin W. Battin, landscape architect for the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners; Marvin Duren, owner of Marvin's Gardens in Lebanon, who has practiced organic gardening since 1978, and Mary Margaret Rochford, president of the Cincinnati Horticultural Society and founder of the Cincinnati Flower Show.
Tuesday afternoon, a juried flower show, exhibits and gift shop will be open to the public.
During the event, more than $30,000 in scholarships will be awarded.
