Drive-by shooting damages house, car
The Cincinnati Enquirer
FAIRFIELD TWP. Someone inside a small, dark car fired several shots into a home and a car in the 7000 block of Hieb Lane about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.
I hate to call it a drive-by shooting, but that's what it was, Police Chief Richard St. John said Tuesday.
An occupant of the house, a 74-year-old woman, had just stepped outside the front door when the first shot was fired, police said. By the time she realized what was happening, two more shots were fired and the car sped away.
The shots, including a deer slug fired from a shotgun, damaged the mirror of a car normally driven by her 16-year-old grandson. They also broke a house window and damaged siding.
