Staying in

TV picks: NBC crams 75 years of TV and radio highlights into NBC's 75th Anniversary Special (8-11 p.m., Channels 5, 22), so don't expect to see much of your favorites from Milton Berle to Miami Vice, Sid Caesar to Seinfeld, Family Ties to Frasier, or Wagon Train to The West Wing.

        • Critic John Kiesewetter says Ving Rhames stars as a man raising the grandson his daughter (Gloria Reuben) placed for adoption in Little John, a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie (9 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

What's in stores today
        For mom:
Not to get all panicky, but you have one week to find a Mother's Day gift. For something sweet, try Godiva's Sheer Luxury Mother's Day 2002 Collection, keepsake boxes that will be around longer than the candy. All done up in green embroidered fabric, the Keepsake Truffle Box is 16 truffles for $42. The Surprise Box is an assortment, 23 pieces for $54. At the stores, (800) 9-GODIVA or www.godiva.com.
