'Monologues back in town
Vagina Monologues returns to the Aronoff Center in July. This time Eve Ensler's intimate show (three women seated on stools, reading from scripts) is scheduled in the mammoth Procter & Gamble Hall for a week-long run (July 16-21).
Reason for the switch to the larger venue, Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati spokeswoman Nancy Parrott says, is to be able to offer a range of ticket prices. Patrons will be able to purchase $20 tickets, she says, in the rear of the auditorium and loge (the balcony will be closed).
Casting is to be announced. When Monologues played here in January in the Jarson-Kaplan Theater it featured a changing lineup of local actresses including Dale Hodges and Kathy Wade.
