The Associated Press
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Richard Celeste, former Ohio governor and ambassador to India, was named president of Colorado College on Saturday.
Mr. Celeste, 64, will be the private college's 12th president, succeeding Kathryn Mohrman, who is stepping down after nine years.
I'm grateful for the confidence the Colorado College trustees have placed in me, and I'm excited about the challenges ahead for this outstanding liberal arts and sciences college, Mr. Celeste said during a news conference on campus.
