Fake injury claim leads to arrest
FOREST PARK A Greenhills man faces an inducing panic charge after police say he falsely told employees at a restaurant he had been shot early Sunday.
Timothy Michaelis, 21, of Dewitt Court, was arrested about 2 a.m. after pulling up to the drive-through window at Arby's, 11118 Hamilton Avenue. He clutched his stomach, claiming he had been shot, and scared the employees, police said.
He has a court appearance today.
