YWCA to honor women achievers
Eight women are to receive this year's YWCA Salute to Career Women of Achievement.
The women will be honored Tuesday during a lunch at the Albert B. Sabin Cincinnati Convention Center. Former Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman will be keynote speaker.
Honorees are:
Kathy Beechem, Firstar Bank; Lisa FitzGibbon, Work Resource Center; Deb Henretta, Procter & Gamble; Karla Irvine, Housing Opportunities Made Equal; Vivian Llambi, Vivian Llambi & Associates Inc.; Kimya Moyo, Cincinnati Public Schools; Gwen Robinson, Community Action Agency; and Dorine Seaquist, Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
Walnut Hills High School senior Whitni Len Cotton will be awarded the Mamie Earl Sells Young Leader Scholarship.
