Former University of Cincinnati guard Steve Logan and Xavier center David West will be among 42 area basketball players and coaches honored at the 7th Annual High School & College Achievement Banquet tonight at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

        The banquet fetes current and former players and coaches from 1950 to the present. UC basketball coach Bob Huggins is the scheduled guest speaker.

        Also honored: Northern Kentucky's Michelle Cottrell and UC's Valerie King and high schoolers Robert Hite (Winton Woods), Josh Hausfeld (Roger Bacon), Ross Neltner (Highlands), Wanisha Smith (Fairfield) and Erica Hallman (Holmes).

        The event is sponsored by the Greater Cincinnati Sports Corporation and the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame. Individual tickets are $55 per person. Group packages are also available.
