Withrow's Hunter out of NBA draft
Forward will go back to Ohio U.
The Associated Press
ATHENS, Ohio Forward Brandon Hunter withdrew his name from the NBA draft and will return to Ohio University for his senior season.
Sports information director Derek Scott said Hunter made his decision Thursday after learning that he would have to miss one game next season for each appearance at a predraft camp in Chicago.
Hunter, a Withrow High graduate, declared his early eligibility for the draft May 14. He did not forfeit the rest of his college eligibility because he did not hire an agent.
A two-time Mid-American Conference first-team selection, Hunter led the Bobcats in scoring and rebounding last season with averages of 17.3 points and 9.1 rebounds.
