LEBANON - A 39-year-old Tennessee businessman awaits sentencing after admitting that he posed as a police officer while trying to coerce a young woman for sex.

Mark Mixner, the father of two young daughters, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of kidnapping and possession of criminal tools. A third charge of impersonating a police officer was dropped in exchange for the plea.
Sentencing is expected in about one month. Mr. Mixner could face a maximum sentence of nine-years and $17,500, and a minimum of two years in prison from Judge Neal Bronson of Warren County Common Pleas Court.
Mr. Mixner's attorney, Dennis Lieberman, is hopeful Judge Bronson will issue a probationary sentence because he claims that Mr. Mixner was mentally ill and is in the midst of counseling.
Mr. Mixner is free on $100,000 bond until sentencing. Warren County Assistant Prosecutor James Beaton, who prosecuted the case, said he expects the victim, Karli Sizemore, to be present at the sentencing to put in her two cents' worth.
It was a fair disposition of the case, said Mr. Beaton.
Mr. Mixner was visiting the area on business on Dec. 6, 2000, when he used flashing red and blue lights to pull over Ms. Sizemore, then 19, on Ohio 741 in Springboro, near Dayton. Ms. Sizemore, who had just left a West Carrollton nightclub, said Mr. Mixner asked for oral sex and other sexual favors, but let her leave when she declined and began crying.
Police stopped Mr. Mixner shortly after in a nightclub parking lot.
