Cyclones adopt safety netting

The Cincinnati Cyclones will hang safety netting at their arena as part of a league-wide mandate by the East Coast Hockey League.

The league is following the NHL's decision to add safety netting after the death of a 13-year-old who was struck in the head by a puck in Columbus in March.

DUCKS: Anaheim agreed to terms with goaltender Jean-Francois Damphousse and right wing Rob Valicevic on one-year contracts. Both are expected to begin this season with the AHL Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
